Presented by Texoma Chevy Dealers in partnership with KTEN, the Golden Apple Award recognizes outstanding educators and school professionals across the Texoma region who make a lasting difference in the lives of students.
Teachers, administrators, counselors, aides, office staff, bus drivers, and support personnel are eligible for nomination. Each school year, 16 recipients are selected to receive a $750 check and are featured in a special KTEN television segment highlighting their impact on students and their communities.
At the end of the school year, one recipient is named the Golden Apple of the Year and receives an additional $1,000 check and a commemorative plaque.
